Purple & Gold 's  "WCU Co-Players of the Game" are Sin'Cere McMahon &  Matt Halvorsen 

Freshman guard Sin'Cere McMahon scored a game-high 20 points (tied with Halvorsen) to lead the Catamounts past the Piedmont Lions.  McMahon completed 7 for 11 in field goals and hit 6 of 8 three-point attempts. He pulled down 4 rebounds, had 2 assists, and one steal. McMahon is the first freshman of the season with Player of the Game honors. 

                                                                       

Senior guard Matt Halvorsen joined McMahon with a game-high of 20 points to lead all scoring. Halvorsen hit 5 of 14 of his field-goal attempts, making four three-pointers, and was perfect again at the free-throw line, hitting 6 for 6 at the charity stripe. He pulled down 3 rebounds, had 3 assists, and 2 steals.  During the game, Haverson scored his 1,000th point of his career as a Catamount.  Congratulations.
