Originally committed to Longwood out of high school ... a versatile wing that averaged double-figure scoring over his prep career, improving his average from 14.5 points as a freshman to 16.5 as a sophomore ... He also averaged over 4.0 rebounds per game including six as a freshman ... Named the Virginia Independent Conference (VIC) Player of the Year as a junior, averaging 19.6 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 2.3 steals per game ... Earned first team all-state on a Hargrave team that set a school-record with 26 wins and earned a spot on the prestigious postgraduate team for his senior year.
