The visiting Bulldogs plated five runs in the top of the first inning including three on a Todd Joyner home run, capitalizing on two WCU errors. However, after stranding two in the first inning, the Catamounts got going in the second with the first two of six-straight markers to take a one-run lead, 6-5, through three.
