We're halfway through the season and only one Southern Conference game is on the agenda this weekend. Not a lot will change in the conference standings this week as a result of that game, but one of the two will be tied with Chattanooga at 2-0 for the conference lead. There's several interesting out of conference games for SoCon fans to feast on as well.
The Wofford at Western Carolina game is the only SoCon contest this week and the game can be seen on ESPN3. The Charlotte 49ers will make the trip to Charleston to kick off the day's activity with The Citadel and can be viewed on the SoCon Digital Network. Another interesting game has VMI traveling to Navy which can be seen on the CBS Sports Network, Chattanooga travels to Tennessee and can be seen on the SEC Network. The final game Austin Peay of the Ohio Valley Conference, travels to Mercer, which will be shown on ESPN3.
