WCU Player of the Game vs. The Citadel (Woolbright)

Purple & Gold's Catamount "Player of the Game" for the The Citadel basketball game on January 3, is senior guard Vonterius Woolbright.  

The Catamount Player of the Game, Vonterius Woolbright tallied his NCAA leading eleventh double-double of the season (and sixth straight), with 22 points and 15 rebounds to lead the Catamounts to a road win to open conference play with a 80-71 victory over The Citadel Bulldogs in Charleston, SC.  

Woolbright hit 8 of 18 field goals (with one pass the three point line) and went 5 for 5 at the charity stripe. Woolbright's rebounds consisted of 11 defensive rebounds and 4 offensive rebound to a total of 15 and he made 7 assists  on the night.
