Purple & Gold's Catamount Men's Basketball "Player of the Game" for the UNC Asheville basketball game on December 9th is senior guard Vonterius Woolbright.
The Catamount Player of the Game, Vonterius Woolbright tallied his seventh double-double of the season with 15 points and 16 rebounds to lead the Catamounts to a 70-63 road victory over the USC Upstate Spartans.
Woolbright hit 6 of 13 field goals, and went 3 for 7 at the charity stripe. Woolbright's rebounds consisted of 14 defensive rebounds and 2 offensive rebounds to a total of 16 and he made 8 assists (two short of a triple-double).
