Purple & Gold's "Catamount Player of the Game" for the Wofford game on February 8th, is redshirt senior guard, Tre' Jackson
Tre' set a Western Carolina Division I single-game record of 47 points, also a record high of points scored in Wofford's Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium and against Wofford in their Division I era. Tre's 47 points break former WCU player Kevin Martin’s school D-I record by 1 point and are the most points in a regular season SoCon game since Marshall’s Bunny Gibson dropped 50 in 1978.
Congratulations also to Vonterius Woolbright, who scored a career-best 30 points including the game-winning shot & grabbed 13 rebounds.
Congratulations to Tre', Vonterius, and the entire Catamount basketball team for the exciting win over the Wofford Terriers.
