Only two games were scheduled on Wednesday, and the SoCon came out on top of both.
Bluefield at Furman
Furman's Matt Rafferty put up 16 points and 12 rebounds as Furman beat NAIA Bluefield College, 94-46 on Wednesday night. The Paladins had a 57-19 rebounding edge over Bluefield. Zeke Williams led the Ramblin' Rams with 19 points from the field including four 3-pointers.
The Citadel at Bethune-Cookman
The Citadel's Derrick Henry scored 23 points to lead the Bulldogs over Bethune-Cookman 99-87 Wednesday night. The win ended a Wildcats' six-game home winning streak. Brian White added 19 points and Warren Sledge scored 20 points in the win for the Citadel. The Bulldogs built a 51-39 halftime lead and was not seriously challenged after that.
