It's now 23 days until kickoff of Catamount football against the Mars Hill University Lions in E.J.Whitmire Stadium on September 5th in Cullowhee.
To help pass those long summer days until football season officially starts, and to hopefully get the Catamount faithful more excited about the upcoming season, we'll continue the 100 day football countdown each day until kickoff day arrives.

Was a three-time North Carolina state wrestling champion, finishing with a 119-12 career record and went 59-0 at Swain ... Was a two-time Outstanding 1-A/2-A Male Athlete of the Year in an olympic sport ... Played for head coach Neil Blakenship ... Started his prep career at Robbinsville HS.
Personal: Is the son of Skooter McCoy who coached at Cherokee High.
