WCU Player of the Game (vs. Samford)



Purple & Gold's "Catamount Player of the Game" for the Samford game on September 8th in Cullowhee, is sophomore running back Desmond Reid. 





The Catamount Player of the Game, Desmond Reid eclipsed the 100-yard mark for the fourth time in his career, just missing his career-high with 170 yards against Samford … Reid rushed for a career-best 175 yards in the 2022 home-opening win over Presbyterian … Reid scored a rushing touchdown for the second-consecutive week to give him two for the season and six for his career … He already has half as many rushing TDs (2) through two games as he had in 10 games last fall (4).
