Purple & Gold 's  "WCU Player of the Game" is Travion McCray 

Sophomore guard Travion McCray scored a team-high 26 points to lead the Catamounts past the upset-minded Newberry Wolves.  McMahon completed 9 for 13 from the floor and hit 3 of 6 three-point attempts and made 5 for 5 from the charity stripe. He pulled down 5 rebounds and had 6 assists.
