A recap of Wednesday night's SoCon games:

Chattanooga 61 - Tennessee Tech 74
Jake Stephens scored 27 points as Chattanooga beat Tennessee Tech 81-74 on Wednesday night. Stephens added 10 rebounds and six assists for the Mocs (4-3). Dalvin White shot 5 for 7, including 5 for 6 from beyond the arc to add 17 points. A.J. Caldwell recorded nine points and finished 3 of 7 from 3-point range. Jaylen Sebree finished with 13 points, four assists and six steals for the Golden Eagles (3-5). Jayvis Harvey and Brett Thompson each had 13 points.


The Citadel 76 - Charleston Southern 73
The Citadel erased a five-point lead in the final 4:06 to pull out a gutty, 76-73, victory over Charleston Southern Wednesday evening inside the Buc Dome. The Bulldogs got off to a quick start as David Maynard scored the first five points of the game. CSU was able to respond to the early run to take a 25-13 lead midway through the first half. The game of runs continued as The Citadel went on a 25-7 run to close out the first half and take a 42-34 lead into the locker room. The second half started with the Bucs coming out of the locker room hot, turning the eight-point deficit into a two-point lead seven minutes into the half. The teams would go back and forth for the next eight minutes before the Bucs went on a 7-1 run to take a 70-65 lead with 4:06 to play.


Gardner-Webb 71 - Western Carolina 55
Redshirt junior Tre Jackson led three players in double figures with 14 points, but Gardner-Webb used a strong first half to earn a 71-55 win over Western Carolina in nonconference action on Wednesday night on Ingles Court at the Ramsey Center. Gardner-Webb improves to 2-5 while WCU drops to 4-4. In addition to Jackson, Tyzhaun Claude and Vonterius Woolbright both scored 11 points. Jackson grabbed a team-best seven rebounds. Russell Jones Jr added eight points along with a game-best three steals.


UNCG 56 -  NC A&T 73

Kam Woods scored 23 points as North Carolina A&T beat UNC Greensboro 73-56 on Wednesday night. Woods was 6 of 18 shooting, including 4 for 11 from distance, and went 7 for 8 from the line for the Aggies (4-4). Marcus Watson added 13 points while shooting 5 for 12 (0 for 3 from 3-point range) and 3 of 4 from the free throw line, and he also had nine rebounds. Demetric Horton shot 3 for 8 (2 for 3 from 3-point range) and 5 of 5 from the free throw line to finish with 13 points, while adding seven assists and three steals.


Mars Hill 56 - ETSU  84
Every Buccaneer took advantage of their opportunity on Wednesday night. Five Bucs scored in double figures, including Jaden Seymour (Charlotte, N.C.) recording a double-double and Jalen Haynes (Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.) being perfect from the field, as ETSU men’s basketball cruised to an 84-56 win over Mars Hill inside Freedom Hall. ETSU snapped a three-game skid as the Blue and Gold improved to 4-4 on the season, while extending their win streak over non-Division I opponents to 73 straight games – a run dating back to 1987-88. The Bucs had a lot of fun in the rout as ETSU set season highs in shooting percentage (.538), rebounds (45) and assists (22), while tying a season-high with 35 made field goals.
