The Citadel at USC Upstate
The Citadel's Derrick Henry scored  career-highs with 30 points and a total of six 3-pointers as the Bulldogs held on adter a South Carolina-Upstate second-half rally to win 88-81 in the Palmetto State Shootout. Henry made all six of his free throws down the stretch to hold off the Spartans. Quinton Marshall also scored a career-high 22 points,sd Zane Najdawi added 11 points.

Chattanooga vs. Jacksonville State
UTC's Justin Tuoyo scored 14 points as the Mocs beat Jacksonville State 62-52 in the Emerald Coast Classic consolation game . Tuoyo hit 6 of 14 from the floor and had two blocks as Dee Oldham and Eric Robertson added 10 points apiece.

UNCW at ETSU
UNC Wilmington defeated East Tennessee State 94-73 on Saturday. The Bucs were 18 of 25 from the free-throw line, but the Seahawks made 17 more field goals, as they out-rebounded the Bucs, 39-24 including 11-4 on the offensive boards. ETSU committed 21 turnovers. A 16-0 run early in the second half had the Seahawks up 64-40.

Wofford at Presbyterian
Wofford's Spencer Collins led Wofford  to a 68-58 win over Presbyterian. Collins finished with 21 points and Justin Gordon added 11. The Terriers converted 8 for 10 from the free-throw line in the final 2:33 to keep the Blue Hose at bay. Wofford led 34-22 at the half.

IPFW at UNCG
The Mastodons made two free throws in the final minute as IPFW held on to beat UNCG 64-58 in the Spartan Showcase on Saturday. Kayel Locke had 13 points to lead the Spartans, as. RJ White added 11 points with nine rebounds. The Mastodons used an 11-4 run to build their largest lead in the second half.

Samford at Austin Peay
The Bulldogs' second-half comeback attempt came up a little short against the Austin Peay Governors, 74-73. Trailing by 15 points in the first half, The Bulldogs battled back to within three, 70-67, with 51 seconds left in the game. The Bulldogs' were led by Jamal Shabazz, who put up a career-high 24 points on 8 of 12 shooting from the floor. Shabazz, also had a career high five 3-point baskets,
