Charlotte, NC - The North Carolina Collegiate Sports Information Association has named Samantha Hodge to the All-State women's soccer team. No other players from a SoCon team in NC was named.
Hodge, already named to the Capitol One District III All-Academic First Team, led the Catamounts in goals scored, assists, and points. The Kentucky native notched a team-leading two game-winning goals, scoring game clinchers against UNC Asheville and The Citadel. She serves as the Vice-President of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), and helped organize pink games for all WCU sports that will be carried out throughout the 2011-12 seasons.
