It's now 14 days until the kickoff of Catamount football on Saturday, September 2nd, 2023, against the Arkansas Razorbacks in the War Memorial Stadium, Little Rock, AR.
To help pass those long summer days, and hopefully get the Catamount faithful a little more excited about the upcoming season, and knowledgeable of the team members, we'll continue the football countdown each day until kickoff day.

Position: Safety

Class: Senior
Hometown: Miami, Fla.
High School : North Miami Senior HS
2022 (Junior): Played in four games with two starts in the secondary before being sidelined by injury … Recorded seven tackles with three solo stops with a pass breakup and a quarterback hurry … Made his WCU debut in starting the season-opener at Charleston Southern (Sept. 3), recording two tackles and a pass breakup … Tallied two tackles at Georgia Tech (Sept. 10) and in the home win over Presbyterian (Sept. 17) ... Named to the 2022-23 Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll.
Prior to Western Carolina: Transferred to WCU from Independence CC in Independence, Kansas
Started his collegiate career at Northwestern Oklahoma State; At Northwestern Oklahoma State: Redshirted in 2018 where he was a member of the practice squad ... Played in nine games in 2019 with 18 tackles including 10 solo stops ... Forced a fumble and tallied five pass break-ups ... Was on the academic honor roll at NWOSU; At Independence CC: Played in nine games in 2021, recording 17 total tackles including 16 solo stops and two tackles for loss with a sack ... As a junior in 2021 and at Carol City High as a sophomore in 2020 … Caught 18 passes for 152 yards and two scores as a junior at AHHS … In addition to wide receiver, took snaps at corner at CCHS … Listed as a three-star recruit by both 247Sports and Rivals after being ranked as high as a four-star recruit … Also runs track as a prep.
