Purple & Gold's "Catamount Player of the Game" for the Mercer game is senior guard Russell Jones, Jr.

WCU's player of the game (against Mercer) for the second consecutive game is senior guard Russell Jones, Jr.

Jones scored another career high and was also the high scorer of the game, posting a total of 23 points. Hitting 9 of 13 field goals, including 4 of 6 from beyond the arc. He also posted 3 steals, 2 assist, and 4 rebounds.
