Punted twice on the season for 42 yards, averaging 21.0 yards per punt ... Downed one of his two punts inside the opponent 20-yard line ... Also saw time on placekicking as the holder ... Remained eligible for a redshirt.
Prior to Western Carolina: Finished his prep career in Huntsville, Ala., earning Alabama 7A Region 4 All-Region second-team plaudits as a punter … Averaged 44.06 yards per punt as a senior including a long of 59 yards … Started his prep career at Wakefield High in Raleigh where he was a three-year varsity letter winner … Joined the WCU football team as a preferred walk-on … Was an academic all-conference selection as a prep.
Personal: Is the son of Becky and Mark Elms ... Has three siblings, Brennan, Nora, and A.J.
