2021 (Freshman): Saw action in six games as a true freshman as an offensive reserve and mostly on special teams ... Credited with five total tackles including four solo stops, posting a career-best two tackles at VMI (Nov. 20) ... Caught one pass for seven yards and tallied a pair of kickoff returns as an up-back, returning one kick a career-long 16 yards at The Citadel (Oct. 23) ... Made his collegiate debut against Mercer (Oct. 9) ... Caught his first collegiate pass at Wofford (Oct. 30) on a seven-yard reception ... Converted to linebacker during the off-season.
Prior to Western Carolina: Played as a dual threat quarterback as a prep as a four-year varsity letter winner … Over 33 career games, passed for 2,592 yards on 161-of-327 (49.2%) with 30 TD passes, adding 989 rushing yards and 13 scores … Finished his career with 3,592 total yards, adding 118 total tackles including 77 solo stops with 16.0 tackles for loss and five sacks … In seven games as a senior, passed for 1,225 yards and 13 touchdowns … Threw for over 1,300 yards with 16 touchdowns as a junior, adding seven rushing scores and 627 yards on the ground in 12 games … Also played basketball and baseball as a prep.
