Welcome to the eleventh annual Catamount Football "100 days to Football Kickoff Countdown".
During the countdown, we'll highlight the player whose number corresponds to that day in the countdown. To help pass those long summer days, and hopefully get the Catamount faithful more excited about the upcoming season, and knowledgeable of the team members, we'll continue the football countdown each day until kickoff Saturday.
Since the official 2021 Catamount Football Roster has not yet been published, we'll use the 2021 Catamount Football Preseason Roster for jersey numbers until the new roster is posted, at which point we'll switch to the official roster for the remainder of the countdown.
It's now 48 days until the kickoff of Catamount football on Saturday, September 4th, 2021, against the Eastern Kentucky Colonels, in E.J. Whitmire Stadium / Bob Waters Field, Cullowhee, NC.

2020-21 (Sophomore): Played in all nine games on the season with a pair of starts … Finished with 16 total tackles including six solo stops and 1.5 tackles for loss coming on sacks … Collected his first tackle of the season at North Carolina (Dec. 5) … Recorded a career-high seven tackles with 1.5 TFLs on 1.5 sacks with a fumble recovery in the win over The Citadel (March 13) … Had six stops at Mercer (March 20).
2019 (Freshman): Saw action in four games as a defensive substitution as a true freshman … Was not credited with any official statistics … Made his collegiate debut at The Citadel (Oct. 12) … Three of the four games he appeared in came on the road ... Named to the 2019-20 Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll.
Prior to Western Carolina: Three-year varsity winner … Recorded 188 career tackles including 72 solo stops, finishing his senior year with a career-best 76 tackles on the 2-A State Championship squad … Credited with 49 tackles for loss including 23 as a senior and 21 as a junior … Recovered three fumbles in his high school career … Named to the All-Shelby Star team as a senior … Received the Sportsmanship Award from the NCHSAA after the state title game.
Personal: Full name is Tre’ Christopher Jolly … Is the son of Deneen and Allen Jolly … His older brother, Tavorris, earned a scholarship to North Carolina as a safety.
