28 Days 'till WCU Football Kickoff - #28 Jaheim Mullen









It's now 29 days until the kickoff of Catamount football on Thursday, September 3th, 2020 at 7 pm, against the Eastern Kentucky Colonels, in Roy Kid Stadium, Richmond, KY.

To help pass those long summer days, and hopefully get the Catamount faithful more excited about the upcoming season, and knowledgeable of the team members, we'll continue the football countdown each day until kickoff day.

Today we'll highlight a wide receiver:

2019 (Freshman): Played in three games on the season, each coming on special teams and as a reserve over the final three games of the season … Credited with four total tackles, each a solo stop … Made his collegiate debut in the overtime win at home over ETSU (Nov. 9), recording a career-best two tackles … Matched his career-high with two tackles at nationally-ranked Alabama (Nov. 23).

Prior to Western Carolina: Four-year varsity letter winner including three seasons at Newton-Conover HS, finishing his career at Hunter Huss HS … Named 2018 All-Gazette All-Purpose Player of the Year as a senior, catching 32 passes for 704 yards and 10 touchdowns on offense with 73 tackles and 10 interceptions on defense, returning one for a TD … Added three kickoff returns for scores as a senior … Three-time all-conference selection and was a two-time conference defensive player of the year as a sophomore and junior … Finished his career with 2,338 receiving yards on 143 catches including 28 for TDs, while adding 264 career tackles and 392 return yards … Four-sport athlete as a prep including football, basketball, wrestling, and track & field ... High school coach was James McKoy.
