Position: Defensive Back
2018 (Redshirt Freshman): Saw action in all 11 of the team’s games making 10 starts in the defensive secondary … Finished the year with 32 total tackles including 23 solo stops and one tackle for loss … Credited with three pass break-ups … Made his collegiate debut with the start in the season-opener against Newberry (Sept. 1) … Posted four-or-more tackles in the final four games of the season including a career-high five stops against The Citadel (Nov. 3) … Had a career-best four solo stops at North Carolina (Nov. 17).
2017 (Freshman): Did not see game action, taking a redshirt.
Prior to Western Carolina: Collected first team All-Region honors for 2-AAAAAAA honors ... Was also named to the 2016 Newnan Times-Herald All-County football team on the first team defense ... High school head coach was Steve Pardue ... Also ran track as a prep.
Personal: Full name is Reginald Johnathan Jones ... Is the son of Reggie Jones Sr. and Chassity Anthony.
