The Road to Asheville (Feb. 27, 2016)
Four games are on the final Saturday schedule.
The Citadel (10-20, 3-14 Southern) at VMI (8-19, 3-13 Southern) 1 pm ESPN3
In Saturday's first game of the day, it's number 10 visiting number 9, as the Bulldogs travel to Lexington to meet the Keydets. The Bulldogs are 3-12 on the road and are in a 8 game slide, while the Keydets are coming off a win over Mercer and have won 2 of their last 4 games. The Bulldogs won the first game in Charleston, but will lose by 7 to the Keydets in Cameron Hall.
Furman (17-13, 11-6 Southern) at Western Carolina (14-16, 9-8 Southern) 2 pm SDN
In the battle for purple supremacy, the Paladins travel up the mountain to meet the Catamounts in Saturday's second game. Furman is 3-11 in away games this season and come to Cullowhee after two road losses. The Catamounts are 11-2 in the Ramsey Center this season, and are winners in 6 of their last seven game. Furman beat the Cats by two points in Greenville earlier this season, but the Cats win on Senior Day by 5 points.
Wofford (15-15, 11-6 Southern) at ETSU (20-10, 13-4 Southern) 4 pm ESPN3
Saturday's third game of the day, has the Terriers traveling to Johnson City to play the Bucs in Freedom Hall. Wofford is 4-13 on the road this year and has lost two of their last three games. ETSU is 12-2 at home and comes into the game on a four game winning streak. The Terriers won big in Spartanburg this year, but look for the Bucs to win by 10 at home. The Mocs are 12-1 on their home court
Samford (13-17, 4-13 Southern) at Chattanooga (24-5, 13-3 Southern) 5 pm ESPN3
In the final game of the day, the Bulldogs travel to Chattanooga to play the Mocs in the Roundhouse. Samford is 5-10 in road games this season, and is coming off a win over VMI in Birmingham that broke a three game skid for the dogs. The Mocs are 12-1 at home this season, and but are coming off their first home loss of the season, to UNCG. Chattanooga won the first game in Birmingham, and win by 15 at home.
