Voorhees vs. The Citadel
The Citadel escaped NAIA-member Voorhees for a 89-85 victory on Tuesday night. Derrick Henry scored 21 points and Brian White had 16 points and eight rebounds to lead the Bulldogs, With 31 seconds left in the game, Voorhees' James Williams made a steal on the Bulldogs and Denzel Bolden made a fast-break layup for a three-point game. Then Warren Sledge hit 1 of 2 free throws for the Bulldogs, making it a two-possession game and Jeffery Mack missed a 3-pointer on Voorhees' final shot.
Tennessee Wesleyan at Chattanooga
The Mocs rolled over NAIA member Tennessee Wesleyan 91-63 Tuesday night. Duke Ethridge scored a career-high 19 points and Casey Jones added 12 points for Chattanooga. Chattanooga made 30 of 58 (51.7 percent) field goals and 23 of 28 from the free throw line. Leland Robinson led Tennessee Wesleyan with 17 points.
Liberty ar Furman
Stephen Croone scored 17 points to lead Furman over Liberty 79-56 on Tuesday night. The Paladins shot 60 percent from the field and made 17 of 25 from the free throw line. Evan Maxwell led Liberty (3-7) with 12 points.
