Presbyterian at VMI 
VMI's QJ Peterson had 25 points with five assists as the Keydets rolled to a 76-61 victory over Presbyterian. Peterson was 10 of 24 from the field with eight rebounds and four steals. Julian Eleby scored 16 points, and Trey Chapman and Jordan Weethee added 11 apiece for VMI (2-2). DeSean Murray had 26 points and 12 rebounds for Presbyterian (3-2).

Wofford vs. Columbia (CBE Hall of Fame Classic)
Columbia's Alex Rosenberg scored 14 points and Isaac Cohen had nine assists as Columbia used a big second half to defeat Wofford. Columbia shot 62.5 percent from the field in the second half to turn a three-point halftime deficit into a 70-59 win.

ETSU vs. Charleston Southern  (NIT Season Tip-off)
Armel Potter scored 18 points as Charleston Southern pulled out a 77-76 victory Tuesday night over East Tennessee State after A.J. Merriweather missed a pair of free throws with 3.6 seconds left. Charleston Southern never trailed but saw a 16-point first-half lead cut to one, 53-52, with 13:10 remaining in the second half.

Hiwassee College at Western Carolina
Western's Torrion Brummit scored 18 points and pulled down 10 rebounds, and Mike Brown scored 17 as the Catamounts pulled away in the second half en route to an 88-63 win over the Hiwassee Tigers. Brummit was 6 of 9 from the field and scored 13 of his 18 points in the second half. Western Carolina led 46-38 with 13:34 remaining and used a 17-4 run in the next 3:31 to pick up its second straight at home win.  .

Samford vs. North Texas (Mean Green Showcase)
Samford's Darius Jones-Gibson scored 23 points, Wyatt Walker had 13 points with 11 rebounds, as the Bulldogs outlasted the homestanding North Texas Mean Green 74-72. Jones-Gibson's jumper with 2:25 left put Samford in front 68-66. The Mean Green pulled within one on Jeremy Combs' free throw, but a layup from Walker and four Bulldogs free throws down the stretch put the game out of reach. Jones-Gibson made 12 of 15 free throws.
