Catamount Basketball - #24 Ashley Williams

The Catamount Basketball season tips off on November 13th in Cincinnati as the Catamounts open the season against the Bearcats at 7:00 pm on ESPN3. To start getting folks in the mood for basketball in the middle of football season, lets take a look at this season's team.

We'll start with the freshmen and move up to the seniors.

Played nine minutes against Hiwassee (11/21) while scoring three points and grabbing a pair of rebounds ... His first career points came on a 3-pointer ... Grabbed a rebound against Wright State (12/18) ... Played 11 minutes against Saint Catharine (12/30) while grabbing two rebounds, dishing out two assists, grabbing his first career steal and blocking his first career shot ... Scored three points against Furman (01/05) while hitting his first career free throw ... Played a career-high 14 minutes against UNCG (01/10) while scoring a career-high five points while going a perfect 2-2 from the field including a 3-pointer ... Played in nine Southern Conference contests.

Prior to Western Carolina: Averaged 15.8 points, 2.8 assists, 5.0 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game in high school ... Spent time at both the Greenfield School and Croatan High School ... As a freshman, averaged 14 points, three assists, three rebounds and 1.5 steals per game ... As a sophomore, averaged 12 points, two assists, four rebounds and one steal a game ...
