Basketball: Today in the SoCon (2-6-15)

Men's Basketball Games in the Southern Conference.

The next games are scheduled for Saturday, a total of five conference games will be played.  



Saturday's game results -

Samford at Western Carolina -
Samford's Tyler Hood hit two 3-pointers in the closing seconds as the Bulldogs overcame a 21-point second half deficit to clean the Catamount's clock,  76-72 on Thursday night. In a five minute run in the second half, the Bulldogs outscored the Cats 26-4 to take the lead. The Cats made 21 personal fouls in the game, sending Samford to the foul line 29 time, where the Bulldogs scored 23 points. In addition to the high foul count, the Cats turned the ball over 16 times

Mercer at The Citadel -
Mercer's T.J. Hallice scored 16 points, and Darious Moten added 15 as the Bears blew past the Citadel for a 76-53 victory on Thursday.
Attendance: 1,946

Wofford at ETSU-
Wofford's Lee Skinner put up 16 points and 10 rebounds to lead the the Terriers to a 74-64 victory over ETSU on Thursday night.

Chattanooga at Furman -
Chattanooga's Justin Tuoyo scored a career-high 20 points, while Ronrico White put in 12 to surpass 1,000 points for his career and the Mocs defeated Furman 74-71 in overtime on Thursday.
