The Catamounts travel to Johnson City, Tennessee to welcome the Bucs of ETSU back into the Southern Conference.

ETSU will be looking for their fifth straight win in a game that will air on national television courtesy of the American Sports Network. The game renews a long-standing series between the Bucs and Cats, as ETSU leads the all-time series 46-23 and has won 15 straight. The last meeting was back on Feb. 14, 2005, a 92-83 win for the Bucs.

ETSU has three starters returning from a team that went 19-16 overall. The Bucs return Petey McClain 6-0 185 Jr. Guard, Rashawn Rembert 6-3 195 Sr. Guard, and A.J. Merriweather 6-2 185 So. Forward. The Bucs are averaging 83 ppg on 43% field goal shooting, as well as 41% from three-point range (11.4 per game).  Currently, the leading scorer is Jalen Riley with 19 ppg, followed by Rashawn Rembert with 16 points, and Lester Wilson with 15 points.
