Sunday, December 14, 2014 – Men's Basketball Games in the Southern Conference
Only two games today, but it would be big for the SoCon to get a couple wins over these teams..
- 4:00 pm - Wofford (7-2) at NC State (8-1) - (ESPN3)
- 6:00 pm - Samford (3-7) at Wake Forest (4-5) - (ESPN3)
Yesterday's games -
Marist at VMI -
The Keydet's QJ Peterson scored 25 points, and pulled down five rebounds, leading VMI to a 92-77 win over Marist. The Keydets attempted 55 three-pointers, hitting 19 and had 24 assists as a team.
UNCG at ETSU -
The Spartans opened Southern Conference play with a 80-79 road victory over East Tennessee State, extending the UNCG’s three game win streak while snapping the Bucs’ five game win streak. UNCG finished the game shooting 50&% (26-of-52) from the field and hit 19-of-26 (73%) from the charity stripe.
Furman at Gardner-Webb -
The Runnin' Bulldog's Jerome Hill completed a double-double, scoring 28 points with 19 rebounds in leading Gardner-Webb to a 74-68 win over Furman. Stephen Croone scored 19 points for the Paladins and Geoff Beans added 11.
