Western Carolina's home baseball game in Hennon Stadium against the #11 nationally-ranked Clemson Tigers on Tuesday, March 4 will be one for the history books. It will be first ever game televised from Hennon Stadium. The game will be broadcast on WMYA-TV (My40), WTVC-TV.2 (THIS TV) in Chattanooga and nationally on ESPN3.
"We are really looking forward to the first live television broadcast from our home venue in our program's history," said WCU head coach Bobby Moranda. "It is an honor and somewhat fitting that the first live home TV game comes against former WCU head coach, Jack Leggett, and his perennial power, the Clemson Tigers. We greatly appreciate all of our sponsors - especially Ingles - for helping to make this possible."
The broadcast is made possible through WCU athletics' partnership with Ingles and a special thanks to both Andy Shaw Ford and the Cullowhee River Club on the Tuckasegee.
