Sumler Named College Sports Madness SoCon Preseason Player of the Year

Redshirt senior guard Trey Sumler has been named the Southern Conference Preseason Player of the Year by College Sports Madness.  Sumler  was also named to the first team All-Conference team.

Sumler who was also named by a team captain by the 2013-14 Catamount players, was second in the SoCon and 44th in the NCAA with 18.4 points per game last season, earning All-SoCon First Team and SoCon All-Tournament team accolades.
