Moranda Interviews for Penn State HC position

Western Carolina head baseball coach Bobby Moranda has interviewed on Thursday (yesterday) for the vacant Penn State baseball head coach position in College Station.

On Monday,  Wright State head coach Rob Cooper was interviewed, then St. Louis head coach Darin Hendrickson was in State College for an on-campus interview.

After Louisville assistant Chris Lemonis withdrew his name from consideration, Penn State invited Bobby Moranda for a tour of the university facilities and to have a face-to-face interview.

  1. The Gate Swings Both ways, If he wants to go,let him go, That is Moranda,I am speaking of, Let him go, by him going for this interview, tells me he does not want to be in Carolina, When the Players learn of this, he will have lost their respect and he will have a Hard time getting them to buy into his system.

  2. If Penn State wants Bobby Moranda, Let them have him, I never thought he was that Good of a Coach anyway, The Kids Bailed him out last year with their talent, Coaching did not Win the Conference, The Talent we had should have Won it All, Moranda, and Check the Record, QUIT on the Team in the last game of the Playoffs in Greenville SC, ask the Players, They will tell. you.Good Bye!!!!!!!!!!

    1. Does Moranda not give your son enough playing time?

    2. I don't have a Son at Western, So that question is does not apply here, I have had Guys that I Coached come there and play. I have been around Baseball a long time. When you pull pitchers in the middle of a count. When you can't call pitches, when you have your 3 hole hitter bunt early in a 0 to 0 game, when you don't have consistency in a lineup card. I could go on and on. Go to a game, and if you know Baseball, you will understand.

  5. Anybody that has any questions about comments that I have made about your Baseball Coach, do me a Favor call Ga. Tech and ask the people what they thought about Moranda as a Coach. Ask any of the Players that have played for him what they think of him as a Coach. You will really be surprised with the answers you get.
