Miller led the Spartans to a 11-5 record over the last 16 games of the year and was named the Southern Conference Coach of the Year. The Spartans won the SoCon North Division championship with a 10-8 conference record.
UNCG was the preseason pick to win the SoCon North Division championship as the Spartans return four starters from that divisional championship team.
