Basketball: Foster Named NFCA MidEast First Team All-Region

Senior Erin Foster has been named to the NFCA MidEast First Team All-Region Team.

Foster is the first Catamount softball player to garner First Team Mid-East All-Region honors. The Catamount outfielder is  from Salisbury, N.C., and was also a 2012 First Team All-Southern Conference selection. Foster led the Catamounts with a .363 batting average and 66 hits, and ended the season tied for second in the SoCon record books for homeruns in a single season with 18. Foster came to WCU from Walter's State Community College where she was a NJCAA Second Team All-American.
