Cullowhee, N.C. -
Charleston won the series rubber match Sunday afternoon, a 6-2 victory over the
Catamounts at
Hennon Stadium. The
Cat's seven singles on the day, stranded 11 base runners, while only pushing across 2 runs. Since sweeping
Furman, the
Cats have dropped two straight conference series, a sweep by
Samford and this 2-1 loss to
Charleston. It does not get any easier for the
Cats as they travel to
Elon, then to
Georgia Southern in the next two conference series.
