Baseball: Cats win big

Freshman Jordan Smith tossed a complete-game for the Catamounts on Saturday, striking out 8, and allowing only 4 hits in a 11-0 blow-out of the Terriers. Celebrating his 19th birthday with his scheduled start, Smith finished just one strikeout shy of matching his career high by fanning eight. Sunday's rubber match is scheduled for a 2:00 pm first pitch.
