Baseball: Cats drop series opener to Charleston

The Catamounts put up 12 hits but stranded 13 base runners to fall 6-3 in the first game of the series to the College of Charleston Cougars on Friday evening in Mt. Pleasant, SC.    Game two of the three-game series is scheduled for 3:00 pm on Saturday afternoon at  Patriot's Point.
