CULLOWHEE, N.C. — Sam Martin scored 20 points tonight to lead the CSU women’s basketball team to a 69-53 victory over Western Carolina. The Rams (7-4), playing for the first time in eight days, led 34-33 at halftime. The Catamounts (3-8) scored the first five points of the second half to go ahead 38-34, but the Rams responded with an 11-3 run to take a 45-41 lead. Amber Makeever’s 3-point basket ended the run.
