It's week #6 in the SoCon, and time to pick Saturday's games.
Five games this Saturday in the SoCon, four are conference games, with only Western Carolina going out-of-conference to play Gardner-Webb.
This week's fearless game predictions.....
-VMI (2-3, 1-1 Southern) at The Citadel (2-3, 0-1 Southern) 2:00 pm - watch on ESPN+
In what is billed as the Military Classic of the South, the Keydets of VMI travel to the low country of South Carolina to face the Bulldogs of The Citadel on the gridiron for the 75 meeting between the two schools. The Bulldogs protect the home field and come away with a 35-17 win over the Keydets

Two of the three unbeaten teams in conference play square off in Birmingham, with first place in the SoCon at stake. Both teams have identical 3-2 overall records. The visiting Paladins pull out a close win over the Bulldogs, 28-24.

The surging Terriers travel to Johnson City to meet one of the other co-champions, ETSU. Wofford continues to ground out the yards and holds off the Bucs in a 24-17 in a good defensive battle between the two teams.

With two weeks to prepare for Western Carolina anemic offense and last place defense, the Runnin' Bulldogs travel to Cullowhee confident of a road victory. The Cats, embarrassed by last week's performance at Chattanooga, the Cats defensive unit bends but does not break this week, giving the Cats their first FCS win of the season, 35-28.

The Mocs travel to Macon, Ga to face the Bears who are in the midst of a 3 game slide. The Bears are hoping to break that streak, but the Mocs offense rolls to a 35-21 win.
