86 Days 'till Kickoff - #86 Tyran Reynolds

It's now 86 days until the kickoff of Catamount football on September 2, 2017, in Aloha Stadium, Honolulu, Hawaii - home of the University of Hawaii Rainbow Warriors.

To help pass those long summer days until football season starts, and hopefully get the Catamount faithful more excited about the upcoming season, we'll continue the 100-day football countdown each day until kickoff.

Today we'll highlight a wide receiver.....

2015 (Redshirt Freshman): Played in nine games as a reserve wide receiver and on special teams ... Made his collegiate debut in the season-opener against Mars Hill (Sept. 5), recording his first collegiate catch for a 10-yard gain in the win. 2014 (Freshman): Redshirted ... Playing for the Purple squad, caught two passes for 41 yards and what proved to be the game-winning touchdown in WCU's annual Spring Game.

Prior to Western Carolina: A versatile athlete who played quarterback, running back, wide receiver and corner back in high school ... Earned All-County honors as a wide receiver after recording 812 receiving yards and 10 receiving touchdowns as a senior ... Played in the 2014 National Underclassmen Combine (NUC) All-South Senior Game, catching a game-high five passes for 83 yards and a touchdown ... Named the West Offensive MVP in the NUC All-Star game ... Named Mr. Crystal River High ... Also played basketball as a prep ... High school coach was Nate Varnadore.

Personal: Is the son of Ryan Reynolds and Fatima Proctor with stepmother Meryl Reynolds ... Has two siblings, brother Bilial Jenkins and sister Sade Jenkins.
