The Purple & Gold "Player of the Game" for Saturday's VMI basketball game is senior guard Rhett Harrelson.
Senior Rhett Harrelson went 6-of-7 from 3-point range and led all scorers with 23 points leading the Cats to their first Southern Conference victory, 73-52.
The Catamounts shot 47.2 percent from the field in the game including 53.6 percent in the first half. The Keydets were held to 33.9 percent shooting and were just 8-14 from the free throw line.
