Tuesday's SoCon Basketball results

Not a good night for the SoCon, with four games on the schedule, the SoCon only picked up one win.



Tennessee Tech at Chattanooga
In the only SoCon win of the night, Greg Pryor had 17 points to lead Chattanooga to an 80-69 win over Tennessee Tech. Chattanooga, off to their best start since the 2003 season, jumped out to an early lead and never trailed. Hakeem Rogers led Tennessee Tech with 21 points.

UNCG at Wake Forest
Dinos Mitoglou scored 22 points to lead Wake Forest over UNCG, 81-71 on Tuesday night, Kayel Locke matched his career high with 25 points to lead the Spartans.

ETSU at UNCA
In the biggest dissappointment of the evening, Ahmad Thomas scored 21 points as the UNCA Bulldogs cruised past East Tennessee, 84-64 on Tuesday night. East Tennessee State shot 47.1% from the field (24 of 51), including 6 of 16 from long range. T.J. Cromer scored 13 points and Abednego Lufile added 10 for the Buccaneers.

Mercer at Auburn
Auburn's Kareem Canty scored 21 points as the Tigers held off a late rally to beat Mercer Tuesday night, 78-71. Auburn opened the second half on a 15-5 run and stretched their lead to to 10 before the Bears cut it to five. Mercer got within one point on a Jestin Lewis jumper with 1:53 to go, but a 9-3 Auburn run seakd the win for the Tigers.
