Daniel Riddle and Tyson Dickson have been added to the 2015 College Football Performance Awards (CFPA) FCS Defensive Awards Watch List.
Riddle & Dickson currently rank first and third respectively on the SoCon’s tackles list with Riddle pacing the league with a 12.4 tackle per game average (99 total tackles) and Dickson ranking third with a 10.5 average (84 total tackles).
Riddle is riding a string of seven-straight, double-digit tackle efforts that includes a career-high 18 in an October win over Presbyterian. The Raleigh, N.C., product leads the SoCon in tackles per game at 12.4, and ranks fifth nationally. Hes also captured both weekly and monthly honors from the SoCon over the past two weeks,
Dickson saw his most recent streak of consecutive double-digit tackle outings come to an end at Chattanooga, just missing double-figures for a seventh-straight game by one with nine stops. On the strength of a school-record tying five tackles for loss in the road win over Wofford, Dickson ranks fourth in the SoCon with nine total TFLs, averaging 1.12 per game. He also recovered a fumble in the victory over the Terriers.
