Purple & Gold's Catamount Player of the Game for for the second week, is Detrez Newsome.
Newsome was the rushing workhorse once again for Western, with a total of 10 carries for 128 yards, and a touchdown. In addition to the rushing yards, he had one reception for a total of 2 yards. and 5 kick returns for 111 yards, averaging 22.2 yards per return.
