On Tuesday, the Cats travel to Nashville, Tennessee to play the Vanderbilt Commodores (6-2) who are coming off a home win over Purdue. The Commodores are 5-1 at home this season, after a 15-16 finish to the 2013-14 season. Head Coach Kevin Stallings is in his 16th season with the Commodores and 21st overall as a head coach.

Vanderbilt is starting a very young line-up with 3 true freshman, and two sophomores. The Commodores are averaging 72 points per game, hitting 50% from the field, that includes 40% from three-point range (averaging 7 per game) and 67% from the free throw line. Vanderbilt has three players averaging double digits, led by Damian Jones with 17 ppg, followed by Riley LaChance with 12 ppg and Luke Kornet with 11 ppg.
