Cats win big over Georgia, 12-7

The Cats roared out to a 5-1 lead in the first inning, and never looked back, taking down the Southeastern Conference foe Georgia by a 12-7 final score, on Tuesday evening in Athens.

Hunter Brister picked up his first win of the season, while Georgia's David Gonalez was saddled with his first loss of the season for the Bulldogs.

The Cats accumulated 15 hits through out the game, with two big 5 run innings to maintain the lead through out the entire game.  Bryant Noteboon had 4 at bats, 3 hits, and 2 RBIs, while in the 7th inning, Tyler White homered with two on base, for 3 RBIs.

The Cats remain on the road  to open Southern Conference play with a weekend series at Davidson. First pitch on Friday is scheduled for 6:00 pm with a 2:00 pm start Saturday and 1:00 pm first pitch on Sunday afternoon.
