It's been hard for the fan base to watch Western Carolina drop a couple of games. On January 22nd in Charleston the Catamounts were smoked by the Bulldogs, 68-46.
A couple things we knew coming into the game: The Catamounts are usually not very good on the road, but the Bulldogs were slumping, losing 3 out of 5.
- Western Carolina has lost 100% of the time this season (0-4) after recording 8 or less assists.
- Trey Sumler has led the team in rebounding in 4 out of 20 games this season.
- Western Carolina has lost 100% of the time this season (0-3) after recording 3 or less three pointers.
- WCU set season lows for total points, field goal percentage, three pointers, field goals made, and rebounds.
- The Catamounts have lost 100% of the time this season (0-5) after shooting a three point percentage of 16.7% or worse.
